Five men were this afternoon fined €60 each after pleading guilty to breaching public order and assaulting a man during an incident at Il-Maghluq, Marsaxlokk, yesterday The incident took place during a protest by residents over the way campers were 'taking over' a small beach at Il-Maghluq. Anthony Cini, 37 of Fgura, Gerson Orsini, 24 of Vittoriosa, Stephen Debono, 44 of Zabbar, Francis Debono, 69 of Cospicua and Mario Schiavone 40 of Cospicua were taken to court in a police van. All pleaded guilty to slightly injuring Christopher Haber and swearing in public. The court was told that Mr Haber had forgiven them.
