LAKE ARROWHEAD, Calif. Crews try to contain remaining wildfires:

Crews worked to contain the wildfires that still burned in Southern California Sunday as warmer, drier air replaced the moist weather that had earlier allowed firefighters to make strong gains.
The cloudy system that brought rain to some areas was moving out of the region, and wind up to 15 mph was expected.

PETERBOROUGH, N.H. Giuliani blasts Clinton:

Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani on Sunday blasted Hillary Rodham Clinton for talking about what she would do on the diplomatic front between her possible election and inauguration.
Clinton has told crowds she would send "distinguished Americans of both political parties to travel around the world on my behalf with a very simple message to the governments and the people alike: The era of cowboy diplomacy is over."

WASHINGTON- Obama: Honesty on Social Security:

In another jab at his chief rival, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says in an ad released Sunday that the country needs an honest dialogue about Social Security in order to fix the system.
Obama launched the spot a day after he directly challenged Hillary Rodham Clinton on the issue while campaigning at a senior center in Des Moines, Iowa.
He accused Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, of dodging tough questions about whether the government should tax workers' earnings above the present cap of $97,500 to help pay for Social Security benefits.

DEARBORN, Mich.- Richardson touts foreign policy resume:

Democratic presidential hopeful Bill Richardson told Arab Americans on Sunday that he has the diplomatic experience to work for peace in the Middle East.
The New Mexico governor and former United Nations ambassador said "solutions imposed from outside almost always fail." He added that he would talk with Iranian, Syrian and Iraqi leaders to try to stabilize the region.
Richardson routinely touts his foreign policy experience, which he says far exceeds that of his rivals.

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Manning breaks Unitas' Colts TD record:

Colts quarterback Peyton Manning set a club record with his 288th career touchdown pass Sunday, breaking the mark held by Johnny Unitas.
Manning entered the game against the Carolina Panthers needing one TD pass to match Unitas' 287, and tied the Hall of Famer with a 4-yard scoring pass to Joseph Addai with 12:11 left in the third quarter.
Then, Manning broke the record when he pump-faked and found Reggie Wayne behind cornerback Ken Lucas for a 59-yard touchdown with 4:47 left in the period.
